FALL OPEN JURIED EXHIBIT 2024

Accepted Media:

  • 2D Art:  Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic, Charcoal, Pastel, Colored Pencil, Pen & Ink, Mixed Media, Printmaking, Photography

  • 3D Art:  Fiber Arts, Ceramics, Pottery, Metal Sculpture, Found Object Sculpture

Special Formats:

  • Diptych & Triptych:

    • Accepted as a single work on 2-3 panels

    • Must meet size requirements

    • Not just 2-3 similar pieces

Artwork Requirements:

  • Originality:

    • No crafts

    • No classroom/workshop directed pieces

    • No reproductions

    • No Giclee prints

    • Must not violate copyright laws

  • For Sale:

    • All artwork must be available for purchase

  • Previous Exhibits:

    • Cannot have been included in a previous Tannery Row Artist Colony exhibit

Size and Presentation:

  • 2D Work:

    • Minimum size: 8” H x 10” W

    • Maximum size: 60" H x 48" W

    • Must be framed or at least 1 1/2" deep gallery wrapped canvas

    • No visible staples

    • Painted edges

    • Wired to hang (no saw tooth hangers)

  • 3D Work:

    • Maximum size: 2' deep x 2' wide x 5' high footprint

    • If assembly is required, the artist must deliver and install the work

Additional Information:

  • Promotion:

    • Tannery Row Artist Colony reserves the right to use all art for promotional purposes

  • Sales:

    • Tannery Row Artist Colony receives a 30% commission on sales of guest artists

    • Payment for sales will be mailed within 30 days

  • Insurance:

    • Each artist is responsible for insuring their own artwork

Application Process:

  • Number of Entries:

    • Up to three pieces that meet the criteria

  • Jurying:

    • This show will be juried by a panel of professional artists from electronic images submitted to the website

    • Awards will be juried by a designated judge

  • Submission:

    • Select the application button at the bottom of the prospectus to submit your entry

    • Registration fee: $40 for three pieces (via Credit Card or check payable to TRAA)

    • Please label your file with your name and title of artwork

    • No storage available, arrange for someone to pick up your art
