Christine Prather Canova's artistic journey began amidst the rolling landscapes of Pennsylvania, finding her first canvas at Mercyhurst Preparatory School. Venturing south to Jacksonville University in Florida, her dedication to the craft was swiftly recognized with a coveted monetary prize from the Art Department. With a triumphant Cum Laude, she emerged with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art, her specialization blooming in the delicate medium of watercolors. This mastery later graced the architectural realm, as she meticulously captured the essence of homes for a lauded Residential Design firm and visionary builders in Atlanta, Georgia. Today, Chris's creative odyssey leads her to dance with acrylics on diverse parchment. Infusing her work with elements of the natural world, abstract forms materialize, culminating in a harmonious blend of reality and imagination.
