Sabrina Bland’s love of art has spanned her life. Who isn’t stirred by Beauty!? Her work is influenced and inspired by nature and the human condition. Her inspirations come from her mission work with Amigos for Christ and the natural beauty of the landscape of Nicaragua- the country of lakes and volcanos. She uses oils, watercolors, acrylics and mixed media to express the simple, yet profound, splendor of the world and our inner feelings, knowing that art can often calm and heal. She has been featured as a solo artist at the Museo and Teatro Rodrigo Callejas and an illustrator for a children’s book. She is an associate artist with Tannery Row Artist Colony in Buford, Georgia and maintains a studio in Nicaragua and teaches art classes in 2 rural schools to encourage and promote the arts.
